CubeSmart Self Storage in Harrisburg, PA, offers over 51,000 sqft of both climate-controlled storage and in-demand large Boat/RV units. The first phase of the project consists of a three-story structure, measuring 150×200 feet with a 1/4:12 pitch, which stands out with its light stone exterior, showcasing architectural accents that add a touch of sophistication to the building. The three story also has a drive-thru access for easy loading and unloading, and an office space for customer service needs. The corners of the building are highlighted by Patriot Red door displays behind glass, making it clear that the facility is a self-storage project. The site also includes large Boat/RV units designed to accommodate Class A motorhomes. To minimize the amount of driveway space that is required for these RV’s, the 14’ x 50’ units were designed at a 60-degree angle, reducing the amount of driveway space required by over 25’. Customers access their units through 14’ x 14’ 977 Trac-Rite doors operated by a chain hoist for added convenience. The owner opted to hire Trachte to install the entire project. The facility also has additional land for future expansion, allowing for more climate-controlled space or additional Boat/RV storage, depending on what rents best in the marketplace.
