What is an ESOP?
An Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a special type of employee benefit plan designed to enable each eligible employee to become owners of stock in their company. There are approximately 10,000 ESOP companies in the United States with 10 million employee owners, and Trachte is proud to be one of them.
What does employee-owned mean?
Each eligible employee shares ownership in the company and is rewarded through yearly stock allocations, which are distributed upon retirement. Employees are motivated to be aware of and involved in the day-to-day operation of our business. This involvement supports the growth of our company and in turn, creates an opportunity for individual wealth for our employees and their families.
Trachte has an EAP available to assist our employees with difficult problems or concerns that may arise, such as grief, substance abuse, stress, family concerns, etc. Our EAP provides counseling and resources for issues that could affect the employee’s personal or professional life. This service is free of charge and confidential to all Trachte employees and their families.
