POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for managing several key accounts. This will include but not limited to provide ongoing customer service, process quote and order requests, provide technical assistance when needed, provide forecasting analysis on demand, conduct regular site visits, and grow the business through sales growth and margin expectations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:

  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
  • Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Coordinate onsite sales calls with given accounts on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing or from a four-year college or relevant degree required.  Prior knowledge or experience with building products and/or the commercial construction process strongly preferred.  Requires strong communication skills, being detail oriented, and have excellent organizational skills.  Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM required.  Ability to read/understand construction drawings in AutoCAD preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

While this position will consist of office work, it will require visits to manufacturing facilities.  The employee may have to be on the production floor surrounded by moving mechanical parts and equipment as well as on job sites, as necessary.  The employee must comply with the dress code and PPE requirement such as safety glasses with side shields and steel toed shoes.  Temperatures and noise levels vary.
