Certifications

ISO 9001:2000 Certified

In December 2006, Trachte Building Systems received certification for having met the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.

What is ISO 9001:2000?

ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard that provides strict requirements for an organization's quality management system. The objective of the management system is to ensure Trachte consistently provides products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations as well as continually improves performance.

As a customer, you can be assured:

• Our building designs go through standardized methods
• Our products and processes are continuously improving
• Trends are analyzed and monitored
• A corrective system is in place
• The system is focused on you, the customer

By achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification, we have affirmed our commitment to delivering high quality building products to the self-storage industry. Our quality management system will be tested for ongoing effectiveness every six months over the next three years.

CSA-A660-04 Certified

The National Building Code (NBC) of Canada is the model building code that forms the basis for all of the provincial building codes, except Ontario. The intent of the NBC is to detail the minimum provisions acceptable to maintain the safety of buildings, in terms of public health, fire protection, accessibility, and structural sufficiency. The code sets out technical requirements for projects in terms of construction, renovation, and demolition. The code regulates that anyone building in the participating provinces must be CSA-A660-04 certified. Our achievement of this certification ensures that as a Canadian customer, your project will be code-compliant.

Florida WL Certified

Trac-Rite doors are approved for installation in buildings affected by Florida Building Commission regulations concerning wind testing and manufacturing certifications. Since the standards set by the commission have increasingly become more stringent, it became evident that certification would speed the approval process at the commission level. Leveraging our ISO 9001:2000 certification and having an established business management system in place helped pave the way for Florida approvals.
