What is an ESOP?
An Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a special type of employee benefit plan designed to enable each eligible employee to become owners of stock in their company. There are approximately 10,000 ESOP companies in the United States with 10 million employee owners, and Trachte is proud to be one of them.
What does employee-owned mean?
Each eligible employee shares ownership in the company and is rewarded through yearly stock allocations, which are distributed upon retirement. Employees are motivated to be aware of and involved in the day-to-day operation of our business. It is this involvement that will lead to the growth of our company and in turn, will create an opportunity for individual wealth for our employees and their families.
